The continuous commitment of Sices Group to the protection of the Environment and to the promotion of Health and Safety is clearly represented by the achievement of two important certifications: OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001:2004.
OHSAS 18001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It aims at putting in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance. It is widely seen as the world's most recognized occupational health and safety management system standard. Sices Group firmly believes that this occupational health and safety management system promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that helps to identify and control health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve the overall performance.
ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and therefore addresses various aspects of environmental management. It provides practical tools for companies and organizations looking to identify and control their environmental impact and constantly improve their environmental performance. With the introduction of this new certification, Sices Grooup will have a framework to set up an effective environmental management system. Besides, ISO 14001 can provide assurance to our company management and employees, as well as external stakeholders, that our environmental impact is being measured and imporved.
