Our code of conduct sets forth the commitments and ethical responsibilities in the conduct of business and activities undertaken by the directors, auditors, employees – whether managers or not – and agents of the companies belonging to the Sices Group. It contains a set of principles on which are based the activities and behaviors of Sices.
Due to the complexity of the situations in which Sices carries on its business, it is important to define with clarity and uniqueness the bulk of values accepted and shared by Sices, and the complex of responsibilities assumed inwards and outwards.
For this reason, by way of resolution dated 21/11/2011, the Board of Directors of each company belonging to Sices Group adopted this Ethical Code, adapting itself to the most advanced standard of corporate governance. The addressees’ compliance to the Ethical Code provisions is essential for the proper functioning, the reliability, the reputation of Sices and the cultural growth of the whole business; these factors are crucial assets for the success of Sices.
The Ethical Code wants to imbue any operations, conducts and way of working both in relations within Sices and in relations with external actors, with correctness, fairness, integrity, loyalty and professional rigor, focusing on the respect of laws and regulations of the country in which Sices carries on its activity, and also on the compliance with Sices procedures.
An ethical orientation (transparency, loyalty and honesty of conduct inward and outward) is a crucial approach for the credibility of the conduct of each company of Sices with the shareholders, the customers and the entire civil and economic contest in which it operates, in order to reach a competitive advantage through the knowledge and the appreciation of the values which widely animates the operational way of Sices.
Sices deeply believes that the achievement of Sices goals mainly depends on an effective and efficient cooperation within the business organization. So, the commitment of Sices is aimed at promoting teamwork, having regards of each role, in order to reach the complete satisfaction of the customers, the shareholders and of any persons who comes into contact with Sices.
Any employees is required to know the Ethical Code, to contribute to its implementation and to report any lacks of the latter.
Sices is committed to facilitate and promote the knowledge of the Code among its addressees and their constructive contribution on its contents, and to provide any means able to ensure the full and effective implementation thereof. Any conducts against the letter and the spirit of the Ethical Code will be punished in accordance with the provisions of this Code.
The Ethical Code is available to those requiring subjects with whom Sices has business relations.
